New year = good time for new traditions, so here's another one. This Sunday I found 15 min to slow down and be quiet (went for a walk while my granny was playing with the kids). This could be done differently, of course (I could go to church or take a bath or anything, really), it's the inner calm that counts.
I purposefully carved out 15 minutes of just me time to feel peaceful. I didn't do anything special for it this time, just went for a walk and stayed in the moment, but that was soul-nourishing.
I'm officially calling my Sunday a renew-my-spirit day now. Here's to good new traditions! I really hope this one is a keeper.
